Bitcoin ETFs Rebound with $233M Daily Inflow, Reversing Weekly Losses

A surge of $233.1 million into U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs on Thursday, paced by BlackRock's IBIT, has reversed weekly losses and keeps July on course to break a two-month outflow trend. The influx marks the strongest single day for the funds in over three weeks.

Bitcoin ETFs Rebound with $233M Daily Inflow, Reversing Weekly Losses

On Thursday, U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) recorded their most significant daily capital injection in over three weeks, pulling in a total of $233.1 million.

Leading this influx was BlackRock’s iShares Bitcoin Trust (IBIT), which captured $183.4 million in net inflows. According to figures from SoSoValuedata, this sum represented a dominant 78.7% of the day's total. Following IBIT, Bitwise’s BITB drew in $20.7 million, and Fidelity’s FBTC secured $15.5 million. A number of other funds also experienced smaller positive flows on the same day.

This strong daily performance was sufficient to push the weekly total for Bitcoin ETFs back into positive territory, resulting in $203.84 million in net inflows for the week thus far. The funds are now positioned to achieve their fourth consecutive week of net gains, provided that Friday's activity does not produce a net outflow exceeding that amount.

For the month of July, the total inflows now stand at a positive $437.8 million following Thursday's activity. This puts the month on track to halt a two-month pattern of multi-billion-dollar outflows.

In the broader market, Bitcoin was valued at $64,338 at the time of writing, marking a 1.8% decrease over the preceding seven days, according to data from CoinGecko.

Simultaneously, spot Ether ETFs also saw positive movement, registering $13.3 million in net inflows on Thursday. This performance continues a strong month for the funds, which have only experienced net losses on five trading sessions in all of July. This stands in sharp contrast to June, when they managed to post net inflows on merely four days of trading.

At the time of writing, the price of Ether was $1,905.
