Ether Treasury Firm Bitmine Purchases 10,399 ETH, Nears 5% Circulating Supply Target
Ether treasury company Bitmine advanced its crypto accumulation and stock buyback programs last week, acquiring 10,399 ETH and repurchasing 4.5 million shares as it moves closer to its goal of holding 5% of all Ether.

Bitmine Immersion Technologies, a company focused on its Ether treasury, executed another significant purchase last week, acquiring 10,399 ETH. This move was part of its ongoing crypto accumulation strategy, which also included the repurchase of 4.5 million of its own shares under a stock-buyback initiative.
According to a Monday announcement, the company's total holdings now stand at 5,797,813 Ether (ETH), valued at an estimated $10.9 billion. This substantial treasury accounts for approximately 4.8% of the 120.7 million ETH currently in circulation. These acquisitions are propelling Bitmine closer to its stated objective of controlling 5% of the total Ether supply.
The 4.5 million shares bought back last week contribute to a larger effort under the company's previously authorized $4 billion buyback program. Since the initiative began on July 1, Bitmine has repurchased a total of 16.1 million common shares.
Beyond its significant Ether treasury, Bitmine's portfolio includes a diverse range of assets. The company holds 209 Bitcoin (BTC), along with $173 million in cash and marketable securities. Additionally, it possesses equity stakes in Beast Industries and Eightco Holdings. The combined valuation of its crypto assets, cash, securities, and other investments totals $11.3 billion.
This latest disclosure follows a similar announcement on July 28, when Bitmine reported the purchase of nearly 10,000 ETH. At that time, the company also noted that a significant portion of its Ether holdings, approximately 85%, were actively staked via its own validator operations.
