Bitcoin ETF Outflows Surpass $526 Million in Four Days as Price Stumbles Below $65K
Spot Bitcoin ETFs in the U.S. have seen a consistent four-day period of investor withdrawals totaling $526 million, corresponding with Bitcoin's inability to stay above the $65,000 price point and a drop in trading volumes. This reversal followed a previous seven-day streak of inflows.

Renewed selling pressure on Bitcoin, which has struggled to hold its position above the $65,000 mark, coincided with four consecutive sessions of outflows from U.S. spot Bitcoin exchange-traded funds (ETFs) that totaled $526 million.
The outflow streak from U.S.-listed spot Bitcoin ETFs extended to four straight trading days, during which investors pulled approximately $49.8 million as the price of Bitcoin momentarily dropped to $63,000.
According to data provided by SoSoValue, Bitcoin ETFs registered cumulative net outflows of around $526 million over the four trading sessions. The largest single-day withdrawals were recorded on July 24, with approximately $240 million being pulled, and on July 23, with about $225 million withdrawn.
Despite this recent wave of selling, the overall financial picture shows that cumulative net inflows stood at a substantial $51.3 billion as of July 28. On the same date, the total net assets held by these funds amounted to $77.2 billion.
This period of outflows is a sharp reversal from a preceding seven-day streak of inflows that had attracted nearly $1 billion into the funds. The shift highlights renewed market volatility following Bitcoin's failure to sustain a price above $65,000.
CryptoQuant community analyst Darkfost commented on the situation, stating that a return to a bullish trend for Bitcoin would necessitate renewed demand and an improvement in overall market conditions. The analyst pointed out that Bitcoin spot volumes on major exchanges have experienced a significant decline from their levels in late 2024. As an example, Darkfost noted that Binance reported approximately $35 billion in spot volume for July, a stark contrast to the $246 billion recorded in November 2024.
At the time of publication, Bitcoin's price was $64,371, reflecting a 2.7% increase over the last seven days, according to CoinGecko data. The cryptocurrency had briefly fallen to a low of $63,100 on Thursday, which was its weakest valuation since July 17.
